Paul Onuachu’s hattrick fires Midtjylland to Danish SuperLiga summit

Nigerian gangling striker Paul Onuachu scored three goals in Midtjylland 4-1 away win against Nordsjaelland at the Right to Dream Park on Saturday.

The tall striker continued from where he left it off as he banged in goals to cement Midtjylland place at the top of the Danish Super Liga.

Paul Onuachu gave FC Midtjylland the lead in the 33rd minutes of the game when he tapped in a cross. Godsway Donyoh equalized for the home team in the 50th minutes of the game.

Paul Onuachu scored his second goal just three minutes after the hosts equalized through Godway Donyoh. Onuachu lost his marker to slam home a wicked shot with his right leg.

He then completed his hattrick with a curler from outside the box with his right foot. It took Paul Onuachu just 45 minutes to score his hattrick at the Right to Dream Park on Saturday.

On the 81st minutes, three minutes after he completed his hattrick Paul Onuachu was withdrawn to a standing ovation.

Evander completed the rout in the 86th minutes of the game when he scored FC Midtjylland’s 4th goal to ensure a comfortable 4-1 road win on Saturday.

Paul Onuachu who now has 7 goals in 11 league goals has scored 6 goals in his last 4 games.

Midtjylland now sit top of the log with 28 points from 13 games while FC Copenhagen are second with 25 points from 12 games.
