Pedri scores golden goal to help Barcelona beat Galatasaray to UEL Quarterfinal place

Pedro González López (Pedri) has scored a remarkable goal to help Barcelona secure a 2-1 comeback win against Galatasaray and a place in the 2021/22 UEFA Europa League.

After playing a goalless draw in Spain in the first leg, Barcelona knew they have all to play for in Turkey at the NEF Stadyumu if the most progress.

The Catalan giants started on the back foot after Marcao put the home team in front in the 28 minutes of the game.

Nine minutes after conceding, the reigning golden boy Pedro González López (Pedri) stepped up with a golden goal to equalize for Barcelona.

Pedri after receiving a pass from Ferran Torres feigned his shot twice with four Galatasaray players on the floor after falling for his dummies and he slotted him a super goal.

Former Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored the winning goal in the 49th minute. It was his 7th goal in 10 games in all competition for Barcelona.
