Peseiro Backs Victor Osimhen European Stay Amidst Napoli Controversy

Super Eagles of Nigeria Head Coach, Jose Peseiro has backed Victor Osimhen to remain in Europe amidst controversy at SSC Napoli.

Recall that Victor Osimhen’s once upon a time celebrated relationship with Napoli has dominated news stories for the wrong reason this week.

Despite the issues, which which has put top clubs in Europe and the Saudi League already gearing up to sign him, his International manager wants the prolific forward to stay in Europe.

Peseiro in a chat with AS, said that Osimhen has the quality to play for the likes of Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Manchester United and Manchester City.

“The certainty I have is that in the end Osimhen will be in one of the best teams in Europe. He can play for any top team: Madrid, Bayern, United, City,” Peseiro said in an interview with AS.

Osimhen has scored five goals in the Italian Serie A from seven appearances, the most recent, coming off the bench to hit target in a 0-4 win over Leece.
