Peseiro names Ademola Lookman’s best position
Super Eagles Head Coach, Jose Peseiro has named Ademola Lookman’s best position while compaing his form this season with the last.
The Nigerian International has scored five goals in fifteen appearances for Atalanta in all competitions this season, a return Peseiro descirbes as ‘good’.
Lookman is in a great moment,” Peseiro told Sportitalia, as per Fanta Calcio.
“I hope he maintains that until the end to be able to do even better than last season, which was of a great level.
“He plays well both as a striker and as a second striker, but I think he can better express his skills as a second striker.”
Interestingly, Peseiro often deploys Lookman as a left winger for the Super Eagles and is a known fan of the 26-year old who was born in London.
The forward was part of Nigeria’s squad for the International Friendly games Vs Saudi Arabia and Mozambique and is expected to make the list for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification games vs Lesotho and Zimbabwe In November.
