Peter Olayinka ends drought in Zulte-Waregem away win against Lokeren

Ibadan-born striker Peter Oladeji Olayinka has ended his goalless run with a late strike in Zulte-Waregem away win against Lokeren on Sunday.

Peter Olayinka scored the second goal as Zulte-Waregem secured an important 2-0 away win against Lokeren in their Belgian first division week 30 clash at the Daknamstadion.

The 22-year-old striker who is on a season-long loan from Gent scored in the 89th minute of the clash for his 8th league goal of the season in as many as 24 games played.

Nill De Pauw put the visitors in front in the 30th minute before Olayinka doubled their lead in the 89th minute to seal Zulte-Waregem away win against Lokeren.

This is Peter Olayinka’s first goal since his back to back goals in 2-2 and 1-1 draws against Waasland-Beveren on the 27th of January and 1-1 and KV Oostende on the 4th of February 2018.

Before his strike against Lokeren, he had gone 4 games without a goal.
