Arsenal captain, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has declined transfer rumours linking him with a move away from the Emirates Stadium.
The former Milan striker who has been linked with a move to Real Madrid and other top clubs has denied the exit rumours.
It was reported by various news outlets that the former St. Etienne striker has requested a move to club that can challenge for silverware but it appears the news were just speculation after his claims.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was quoted by RMC saying he remains part of the London club as at the moment.
“The English press likes to talk a lot. For now, I’m here. I’m 100 per cent here.
“As soon as he [Arteta] got here, he put things on the table. He made it clear what he expected from us & that it was non-negotiable.
“Everyone has got to work. Everyone wanted to make an effort because we have pride there too.
“We wanted to regain the taste for victory and please our supporters. It’s a new year, it’s good to start with a victory and hopefully that gives us strength for the future.”
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who finished last season as joint top scorer with Mo Salah and Saido Mane is Arsenals top scorer this season with 13 goals.
