Plateau Utd, MFM FC joins Enyimba, Akwa Utd in CAF Confederations Cup
The four teams representing Nigeria on the continent will now play in the last qualifying round of the CAF Confederations Cup as MFM FC and Plateau Utd both exited the CAF Champions League.
Plateau Utd exited the CAFCL after losing 4-3 on aggregate despite a 1-0 win in kano over Etoile Du Sahel while MFM FC on Saturday lost 6-0 to MC Algers and 7-2 on aggregate
Enyimba saw off Energie FC from Benin Republic 3-2 to go through 5-2 on aggregate, while Akwa United needed to win a penalty shootout 3-2 after aggregate scores stood at 1-1.
The draw for the last qualifying round comes up on the 21st of March, 2018.
