Police teams to start 2018 National Super League as NHF releases fixtures

The Police teams will kick start the 2018 National Super League as the Nigeria Hockey Federation released the fixtures for the 2018 Hockey League.

The Police Machine who finished second in the 2017 edition will start their push for the title against the Inspector General of Police Flickers according to the fixtures released by the Federation this morning.

All the participating teams will be in action on the first day as a total of 8 games will be played on the opening day.

The Women’s champions, Kada Queens will tackle the Bauchi Babes in the first game that will be played in the Women’s category.

The Men’s defending champions, Niger Flickers who look to make it their fourth title on the bounce will start their title defense against the 2017 National League one champions, Delta Force by 4 pm.

The Lagos-based club, Stallions formerly Union Bank will start their campaign against the Kada Stars by 10 am.

The games will be played at the Abuja National Stadium Complex Package B starting from August 25th to September 1st.

The games will be played in 4 quarters format.
