Premier League: Ndidi Ruled Out Of Aston Villa Clash
Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has been ruled out of Leicester City’s Premier League clash against Aston Villa.
Ndidi has been out of action since sustaining an injury in training in January.
Brendan Rodgers confirmed that Ndidi is back in training but won’t be available against Aston Villa due to personal reason.
“He’s been training well,” Rodgers was quoted by the club’s official website.
“He’s had a personal issue this week that won’t see him involved at the weekend but hopefully going forward he won’t be too far away.”
The 25-year-old has struggled with injuries this season, making just 16 appearances for Leicester City in all competitions this season.
Leicester City are in the 14th position on the Premier League log, with 18 points three points clear of the relegation zone.
