Rangers depart Nigeria for Tunisia ahead of CAF Confederation Cup clash against CS SFaxien

Rangers International Football Club of Enugu – Nigeria this morning left through Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu to Lagos en route Tunis for the 2nd leg in group stage of Total/CAF Confederation Cup competition 2018/2019 season.

The club led by her General Manager, Prince Davidson Owumi, the Technical Adviser, Olugbenga Ogunbote and representatives of Nigeria Football Federation will arrive Tunis tomorrow in preparation for the match between CS SFaxien of Tunisia and Rangers International of Nigeria on Wednesday 13th February, 2019 by 8pm.

Rangers International is currently topping the group B, followed by CS SFaxien with 3 points each. Rangers defeated Salitas FC of Burkina Faso by 2 goals to 0 while CS SFaxien defeated Ăˆtoile du Sahel of same Tunisia by 1 goal to 0.

Rangers trained repeatedly under the floodlights at the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium before leaving to acquaint them with it as match will be played in the night. In another development, Lobi Star of Makurdi Nigeria will tomorrow at same 8pm play with WAC Casablanca of Morocco in Matchday 4 of 6 in CAF Champions league.
