Rangers FC unveil MORE new signings ahead of 2024/2025 NPFL season
Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) champions, Rangers International, have announced the signing of two new players as they strengthen their squad ahead of the 2024/2025 season.
The Flying Antelopes unveiled Chikeluba Ofoedu, a forward formerly with Agudat Sport Ashdod F.C of Israel, and Effimi Nsi, a right-back, as part of their preparations for the upcoming campaign.
These signings are part of a larger group of six new players brought in to bolster the team. The others include Williams Wonah, Ofokansi Michael, Onyekwere Nnaemeka, and Daniel Onyia. The General Manager/CEO of Rangers FC, Amobi Ezeaku, praised the new arrivals, describing them as valuable additions to the squad under the guidance of coach Fidelis Ilechukwu.
Rangers FC will kick off their title defense in the NPFL against reigning President’s Cup winners, El-Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri, on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu. The match is set to begin at 4:00 pm. The newly signed players will be officially unveiled alongside earlier signings as the club gears up for what promises to be an exciting season.
