Rashedat Ajibade bags Hattrick in Atletico Madrid win
Super Falcons star Rashedat Ajibade bagged a hattrick in her club Atletico de Madrid Femenino 6-1 win over Alhama CF in Pre Season .
Ajibade returned for Pre season with Atletico Madrid Femenino last week after a solid individual performance at the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Morocco .
Ajibade and Atletico Madrid finished the 2021/2022 season in 4th place same spot the Las Rojiblancos ended the previous season .
The win was the third straight victory for the Atletico Madrid ladies and Ajibade is happy to play and win every game on the Atleti shirt .
” The team has done well, and the most important thing is that we have won because that is the objective, to win all the games with the Atleti shirt, it doesn’t matter if it’s a pre-season match, a friendly or a competition, we just have to play to win. ” Ajibade said as quoted by Pulse .
” It was a good match to understand each other more as a team, to understand our patterns and structures, and to build on what we have been learning during the week. ” She concluded .
Ajibade’s club manager Oscar Fernandez will be happy with the performance in pre season which has seen Atleti score 12 goals and let in 2 in 3 games so far vs Rangers (0-2) , Cadiz (1-4) and Alhama CF (6-1) .
