Rasheedat Ajibade is Atletico Madrid February player of the month

Super Falcons player Rasheedat Ajibade won the “Player of the Month” of February 2024 at Atletico Madrid’s women’s team. SportsRation reports.

The Nigerian star has been playing for Atletico Madrid since 2021 and has been really important for them. She scores goals and helps her teammates score too.

This season, Ajibade has scored four goals and helped with three more assists. This has helped Atletico Madrid to get to fifth place in the Spanish Women’s first division.

In February 2024, Ajibade played in five games and helped the team win one and draw three. She even helped set up three goals for her teammates.

Because of her great performance, Ajibade got the “Player of the Month” award for February. She’s now the fourth-best goal scorer at Atletico Madrid’s women’s team.

The team is hoping to do even better and maybe get into the Champions League. They’re currently 20 points behind the first-place team and seven points behind the third-place team. They have twelve games left to try and climb up the table.
