Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelloti has revealed his team will pay special attention to ‘complete striker’ Victor Osimhen and teammate Kvaratsheila when the face Napoli in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
The game on Wednesday November 29, 2023 at the Santiago Bernabeu is the second leg of their champions leg group stage fixture, the first ending 2-3 in favour of Madrid in September.
Osimhen did not score in the first-leg but posed enough threat to capture Ancelloti’s attention.
“Kvara is formidable one-on-one, Osimhen is a complete attacker, very strong with his head and in transitions,” Ancelotti is quoted by Napoli Magazine.
“We took all this into account in the first leg, and we will try to take it into account tomorrow too.”
Osimhen scored five goals in six appearances for the Partenopei in the Champions League last season as they reached the quater-final for the first time.
While Carlo Ancelloti tutored Real Madrid are already through to the knockout-out round, Osimhen and his teammates will need at least a point to seal progression with a game to spare.
