Relegated Kano Pillars have plans in place to play in NPFL next season

Relegated Kano Pillars are said to be planning a plan b that will see them play in the Nigeria Professional Football league next season.

Pillars poor season and indiscipline sent them down to the second tier league.

The former NPFL champions had six points deducted from the total points over improper behaviour and misconduct.

But instead of accepting their punishment, they have now set the ball rolling on getting back to the league.

According to various report, Kano Pillars are set to buy a slot from Doma United FC.

Gombe-based Doma United FC secured promotion to the NPFL following their victory in the NNL Group A, but the club seems to be willing to sell their slot to Kano Pillars for around #250 million.

If the deal goes through, both sides will swap places in the Nigerian football pyramid for the 2022-23 season.
