A picture of Nigerian musician popularly known as Davido at the Etihad Stadium appeared on Social media few hours after Manchester City beat Chelsea to spice their title win party.
Afrobeats superstar, Davido was been spotted in the stands at the Etihad Stadium donning a Manchester City jersey.
Though the singer like every other individual reserves freedom to attend any football match in the Worlds most followed football league, here is reason why he attended the game.
PUMA INVITATION: Both Manchester City and Davido enjoy commercial agreements with PUMA and so the global sports company PUMA invited the music superstar for the match.
The invitation got to Davido on Saturday May 20 this was after PUMA and Davido had a few exchanges on Twitter after the sports company displayed the 2023/24 new PUMA jerseys the company produced for Manchester City.
To make the invitation work, the Timeless crooner told PUMA ; “Ginger me. Send the jet!!”
Davido later confirmed PUMA had sent a jet and that he is heading to Manchester City for the match.
PUMA later shared a picture of the singer in the stands at the Etihad in response to a thread about the singers presence in the Stadium as Pep Guardiola`s men lifted the Premier League title after a 1-0 win over Chelsea FC.
