Nigeria Premier basketball league champions, Rivers Hoopers have received the 30m naira pledged to the team by Gov. Sim Fubara back in October 2023.

In recent updates, Rivers Hoopers announced the signings of 32-year-old William Perry, John Wilkins and Canadian-born Nigerian Kelvin Amayo.
