Rivers land in Sudan ahead of CAFCL 2nd leg tie against Al-Merrikh

Rivers United arrive in Sudan in the early hours of Friday ahead CAF Champions League second leg game on Saturday against Al-Merrikh

Players and officials of the team arrived at the Khartoum International Airport at about 2am local time, checked into Regency hotel in Khartoum.

First leg of the tie ended 3-0 in Favor of Rivers United in Port Harcourt. United stand a chance of qualifying for the money-spinning group stages if they don’t concede more than two goals.

The game will come up on Saturday at the Al-Merrikh Stadium, Omdurman by 5:00PM.
