Rofiat Imuran Happy to Score, And Assist In Full Debut For Reims

Super Falcons fullback, Rofiat Imuran has expressed her delight at scoring and assisting in her full debut for her French club, Stade de Reims.

Prior to Saturday’s game, Rofiat had played in three league games, all three were from the bench and a total of 30 minutes.

But on Saturday at D1 Arkema, she started and played for 84 minutes and she duly justified her inclusion in the starting eleven.

After 45 minutes without a goal, Rofiat Imuran teed up Melchie Dourmornay who scored the first goal in the 48th minute.

The Haitian forward then returned the favour to Rofiat Imuran who doubled the visitors lead in the 54th minute of the game.

Kelly Gadea scored an own goal to give Reims a 3-0 lead, and Melchie Dourmornay got her brace in the 77th minute of the game.

In the added time Shana Chossenotte scored the 5th goal to hand Reims a 5-0 win at D1 Arkema.

After the match, Rofiat Imuran took to her social media page to express delight at her performance.

“I am so glad and fulfilled to have scored my first goal and +assist for @StadeDeReims,” said Imuran.

“Thanks to all my teammates and everyone for your usual support.”

While Imuran was on the pitch for 84 minutes, her compatriot, Tosin Demhin was an unused sub.
