Rohr announces 24-man Super Eagles squad to take on Cameroon

Moffi, Marcus receive maiden call-ups

Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr on Monday announced his final 24-strong squad to prosecute the June 4th friendly against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in Austria, with youngsters Terem Moffi, Abraham Marcus and Valentine Ozornwafor all included in the squad.

FC Midtjylland midfielder Frank Onyeka also returns after being dropped from the last squad and the home-based trio of Ahmed Musa, Anayo Iwuala and John Noble were called up once again. FC Nantes winger Moses Simon also returns after having missed the last international games due to the refusal of his club to release him. Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze misses out, as do Rangers duo of Joe Aribo and Leon Balogun. West Bromwich Albion defender, Semi Ajayi also misses out. Here is the list in full;

Goalkeepers: Maduka Okoye (Sparta Rotterdam, Netherlands), Francis Uzoho (APOEL, Cyprus), John Noble (Enyimba FC, Nigeria).

Defenders: William Troost-Ekong (Watford FC, England), Chidozie Awaziem (Boavista, Portugal), Jamilu Collins (Paderborn, Germany), Ola Aina (Fulham, England), Tyronne Ebuehi (FC Twente, Netherlands), Valentine Ozornwafor (Galatasaray, Turkey).

Midfielders: Wilfred Ndidi (Leicester City, England), Oghenekaro Etebo (Galatasaray, Turkey), Shehu Abdullahi (Omonia Nicosia, Cyprus), Frank Onyeka (FC Midtjylland, Denmark), Abraham Marcus (CD Feirense, Portugal).
