Rohr drops Lokosa, Eze & three others ahead of England friendly

Super Eagles handler, Gernot Rohr has dropped Junior Lokosa, Stephen Eze, and three others as he trimmed his squad to 25 with two more to be removed before submitting the final 23-man squad for Russia 2018.

Injured Simon Moses, Plateau United goalkeeper, Dele Ajiboye, and Uche Agbo were the three who failed to make the 25 that will be traveling to England for the friendly against the Three Lions and ultimately the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

While Junior Lokosa who had scored 18 goals in the Nigeria Professional Football League was played out of position out wide in his only game with the Super Eagles the 1-1 draw against DR Congo, Dele Ajiboye, Stephen Eze, and Uche Agbo were not given a chance to prove their worth to the team.

Two more players will be dropped from the above pool after the friendly match with England on Saturday.
