Ronaldo beats Messi as one Premier League player makes the cut on EA sports top 10 players in FIFA 18
EA Sports have unveiled the top 10 players in FIFA 18, with only one Premier League player making the cut as Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo duke it out for top spot.
EA have been releasing the top 100 ranked players for the past week, and have now confirmed the final standings ahead of the game’s full release on September 29.
The previous highest ranked Premier League player revealed was Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea, who received a 90 rating, just ahead of Sergio Aguero, Alexis Sanchez and Thibaut Courtois (all 89).
But Chelsea star Eden Hazard has taken the mantle of the best outfield player in England, sandwiched in between Real Madrid duo Toni Kroos and Sergio Ramos in 8th place, with a rating of 90.
The top two has a familiar look to it, with Ronaldo edging out Clasico rival Messi to claim top spot – which perhaps isn’t surprising given that he is the face of the game this year!
