Rovers FC Players Injured in Road Accident, One in Critical Condition
Rovers FC have confirmed that their team was involved in a road accident near Asaba while travelling to Lagos for a rescheduled Nigeria National League fixture against Sporting Lagos on Wednesday, April 1, 2026.
In a statement released by the club’s management, the team bus lost control during the journey and tumbled, leaving several players, officials and staff injured. The club also confirmed that one of the players is in critical condition and is receiving intensive medical care in hospital.
