Roy Keane calls David De Gea the most overrated keeper after error in United’s 1-1 draw at Tottenham
Manchester United legend Roy Keane has labelled club’s goalie David De Gea the most overrated goalkeeper after a mistake from him gave Tottenham the lead on Friday.
Steven Bergwijn tame shot was parried into the net by David De Gea who for many years had been Manchester United saviour.
Although, a penalty from Bruno Fernandes ensured the game ended 1-1 but a visibly irrated Roy Keane said he wouldn’t allow the Spaniard into the team bus during his half time analysis.
“I am sick to death of this goalkeeper. I would be fighting him at half time.
“I wouldn’t let De Gea back on the team bus after the game. Let him get a taxi back.
“The most overrated goalkeeper I’ve seen in a long, long time.”
The point gained against Tottenham could be very valuable to Ole Gunner Solskjaer men as they continue their chase for a top four finish.
