Rybakina Returns to World No. 3 in WTA Rankings
Elena Rybakina closed her Australian Open run with a message of gratitude, reflecting on a tournament that helped push her back to the top of the women’s game.
“ Thank you Australian Open for the love, the energy and the unforgettable memories. Thank you to everyone who supported me along the way – beyond grateful for this moment ✨ Dreams don’t melt under pressure.”
Her run in Melbourne has lifted her back to her career best No. 3 spot. She sits behind only Aryna Sabalenka and Iga Świątek, confirming her place among the most consistent players on tour.
The latest rankings update also brought a milestone for women’s tennis. For the first time in the Open Era, two mothers are ranked inside the WTA top 10 at the same time: Elina Svitolina and Belinda Bencic.
