Real Sociedad ace Sadiq Umar got his name on the scoresheet for the first time this season as his side claimed a 2-1 win over Sevilla in La Liga.
The home side opened the scoring after just three minutes when a free-kick from Ander Barrenetxea was spilled into his own net by Sevilla goalkeeper Marko Dmitrovic.
Real Sociedad doubled their advantage in the 22nd minute through Sadiq Umar. The 26-year-old striker picked up the ball inside the centre circle before going past two defenders by himself and striking a rocket from around 30 yards out.
Moroccan striker Youssef En-Nesyri pulled one back for Sevilla on the hour mark to set up a nervy finale, but any hopes of a point were extinguished 28 minutes later when both Sergio Ramos and Jesus Navas, two of the most experienced players in the league, received their marching orders.
Real Sociedad are up to fifth in the league with 25 points from 14 games, while their opponents are in 15th place in the standings.
