Samuel Chukwueze contributes four goals to help Villarreal win 9-0 at past Santa Amalia

Samuel Chukwueze contributed four goals to help Villarreal win 9-0 in a Copa del Rey game against Santa Amalia on Saturday.

The Nigerian winger was very lively as he contributed two goals and two assists to help Villarreal ease past Santa Amalia into the next round of the competition.

Samu assisted the first goal scored by Diego Collado in the 31st minute, he then complete his brace of assists when he set up Alex Baena 35th minute strike.

Jose Luis Morales scored Villarreal’s third in the 36th minute.

Samuel Chukwueze scored a beauty in the 47th minute, the Nigerian received a pass from Juan Foyth, before firing a low bender which shaved the woodwork before going in.

The former Tottenham defender was again the provider for Samuel Chukwueze’s second goal. Samu twisted and turned a few times before a powerful shot into the net.

Samuel Chukwueze was subbed out for Gerard Moreno in the 55th minute, meaning he was involved in four of the five goals scored by Villarreal while he was on the pitch.

Francis Coquelin scored Villarreal’s 6th goal in the 61st minute, Gerard Moreno scored the 7th goal in the 74th minute, and Etienne Capoue scored the 8th goal in the 80th minute.

Gerard Moreno completed his brace in the 87th minute to hand Villarreal a 9-0 win away from home.

Samuel Chukwueze will now head into Nigeria’s camp for the friendly game against Portugal full of confidence.
