Untouchable, unplayable and too much to handle were few words that can describe Samuel Chukwueze’s display in Villarreal’s 4-4 draw against Barcelona on Tuesday.
Samuel Chukwueze singlehandedly dragged Villarreal back into the game by scoring and assisting to bring the scoreline to 2-2 at half time.
He further contributed his quota as Villarreal scored two more goals to increase their tally to four but after a red card to Alvaro Gonzalez in the 86th minute for his second bookable offence the rhythm of the game changed.
Chukwueze was pulled out for Daniele Bonera in the 87th minute, he could on watch Messi and Suarez score two late goals to draw Barcelona level from the bench.
“It wasn’t the result we wanted but we will keep on working hard, onto the next game.”
Up next for Villarreal is an away trip to Real Betis before welcoming Valencia next Thursday in an all Spanish club Europa League quarterfinal.
