Samuel Chukwueze scored the only goal as Villarreal pip Girona 1-0 in their La Liga game on Sunday to give their relegation push a boost.

The 19-year-old attacker was impressive in the game just as he was in the other games.

The goal was Samuel Chukwueze ‘s fifth in La Liga this season and his goals have been worth six points as Villarreal continue their push for survival.

In just his first season in the Villarreal’s first team, Samuel Chukwueze has contributed to the progress of the Yellow Submarines than most of their big names.

In fact, the Diamond Academy of Umuahia graduate who Villarreal signed for €500,000 is now worth more than 10 times his original value after the Yellow Submarines inserted €63 million in his new contract.
