Samuel Chukwueze’s goal helps 10-man AC Milan defeat Maduka Okoye’s Udinese

Samuel Chukwueze and Maduka Okoye were back in action for their clubs in Italy after enduring a difficult experience during Nigeria’s trip to Libya.

Chukwueze’s goal gave AC Milan a narrow 1-0 victory over Udinese, keeping Milan third in the Serie A standings.

Chukwueze started in Milan’s attack alongside Noah Okafor, Christian Pulisic, and Alvaro Morata, while Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye stood between the posts for Udinese after a solid performance against Lecce before the international break.

The match began with intensity, and Milan wasted no time taking the lead. In the 13th minute, Christian Pulisic set up Chukwueze with a precise pass, and the Nigerian winger showed excellent control to slot the ball into the bottom left corner.

However, Milan’s rhythm was disrupted when a player was sent off late in the first half for a last-man foul.

With only 10 men, Milan adjusted their tactics after the break, sitting deeper and defending their narrow lead. Despite Udinese’s efforts to find an equaliser, Okoye’s side struggled to break through Milan’s solid defence until the final whistle.

Chukwueze’s goal gave Milan their first victory of the season, while Okoye’s Udinese will aim to bounce back in their next match. Both Nigerians will be hoping to carry this momentum into their future club and national team performances.
