Sarco Shines as Argentina Beat Cuba 3-1 at U20 World Cup

Alejo Sarco scored twice to help Argentina U20 defeat Cuba 3-1 in their opening match at the FIFA U20 World Cup in Chile, SportsRation reports.
Argentina started strongly and went ahead after just three minutes. Santino Andino found Maher Carrizo on the wing, and Carrizo dribbled into the box before crossing for Sarco, who finished from close range to make it 1-0.
The game took a twist when Santiago Fernández fouled Raballo of Cuba inside the area. The referee gave a red card and awarded a penalty, but after Argentina coach Diego Placente challenged the decision with a green card review, VAR confirmed the red card but cancelled the penalty.
Despite being a man down, Argentina doubled their lead when Dylan Gorosito crossed for Sarco to head home his second of the night.
Cuba pulled one back from a corner soon after, but Argentina secured the win late on. Substitutes Ian Subiabre, Mateo Silvetti and Tobías Andrada were brought on, and Subiabre struck to seal a 3-1 victory.
The result puts Argentina top of their group, ahead of Italy who beat Australia 1-0 in the other match.
Argentina will face Australia in their second group game on Wednesday.
