Arsenal have reportedly tabled a bid to sign Italian midfielder Manual Locatelli.
Locatelli 23, who scored two goals for Italy in their 3-0 win against Switzerland at the ongoing EUROS have grown to become one of the finest midfielders in Italy.
The former AC Milan midfielder has raised his profile since joining Sassoulo and he currently has many clubs fighting for his signature.
While their were reports of a deal between Sassoulo and Juventus for the Italian, it looked like the North London could be his home this summer.
“Arsenal have made an official bid for Locatelli,” said Sassoulo CEO Giovanni Carnevali.
‘They’re pushing hard to sign Manuel and it’s an important bid… we will see.”
He also confirmed Juventus are interested in signing the ittalian
“Also Juventus want Locatelli and we’ve a special relationship with them. We’ve a new meeting scheduled with Juve”.
