Semi Ajayi helps West Brom gain promotion back into Premier League
Super Eagles utility player Semi Ajayi has helped West Bromwich Albion gained promotion into the Premier League from Championship.
The former Arsenal player who joined the Albion from Rotherham played a huge role in his side’s promotion into the top flight league.
Semi Ajayi who played a total of 43 league games out of 46 scored five league goals, The 26-year-old was deployed mostly as a central defender but did the job when needed in the defensive midfield position.
West Brom joined championship winners Leeds United as the two team which qualified automatically to the Premier League
Brentford and Fulham will have to go again in the play-offs alongside Cardiff and Swansea for the last promotion spot with Hull, Charlton and Wigan all relegated from the championship to League one.
The last time West Brom played in the Premier League was in the 2017/18 season.
