The 1st Chief Olusegun Obasanjo National squash open championship at the OOPL Squash Court Abeokuta Ogun State have started hitting the cruch stage with semi final pairings now decided.
The semi final matches were decided after a thrilling quarterfinal matches in the categories.
Decided semi final matches today after the quarter fianl games werw the senior men’s and women’s category and the U19 Girls semi final matches.
In the men’s semi final pairings, Garba Enimakure, who sent Sodiq Takwo packing will take on Femi Shedera while injury threatened Abel Shedrack entertains Abdulrahaman Lanre.
For the womens semi final matches, it will be an all family affair when Yemisi Olatunji, Nigeria’s no1. face her younger sister Busayo Olatunji while Kwara state ever cool Rofiat Abdulazeez facing Ebifemi Taiwo.
In the U19 Girl’s category, it’s Adeyi Odunade vs Temitope Olusoji with Aminat Musa trading strokes with Dahood Kudirat. While the U19 Boys last four will be determined on Thursday.
All semi final matches are scheduled for Friday with the championship set to climax on Saturday.
