Solomon Agbalaka makes AFCON U20 group stage best XI

List gives hint on the Ugandan players to watch out for

Nigeria U-20 left-back Solomon Agbalaka has been included in the AFCON U-20 best XI of the group stage after inspirational performances for the Flying Eagles.

Solomon Agbalaka was the only Nigerian player in the list of best XI on the group stage, Senegal (4) have the most representation.

Congo and Uganda both have two representations. Benin Republic, Gambia, and Nigeria have one each.

There were no surprises with Senegal having four representatives as they were the highest goal-scoring team at the tournament and one of the two countries with a 100% record in the Group stage alongside Gambia.

Solomon Agbalaka made the cut after winning the man of the match in Nigeria U-20 games against Egypt, and Mozambique.

The AFCON U-20 best XI of the group stage may have given Ladan Bosso, and the Flying Eagles a hint as to the Ugandan players to watch out for. Defender, Torachi Ochaki, and forward, Rogers Miguisha, both players made the cut for a reason.
