Sonia Ighalo Hits Out at Ex-Husband Odion Ighalo Over Alleged Sex Scandals

Former Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo is once again in the spotlight—this time off the pitch—after his ex-wife Sonia Ighalo took to social media to make fresh allegations against him.

“I had no idea that my ex-husband was making headlines due to his sex escapade,” she wrote. “It is truly disheartening that this man continues to humiliate his children in such manner.”

Sonia, who separated from Ighalo in 2019 and finalised their divorce in 2022, said she has tried to maintain peace for the sake of their three children. She voiced particular concern about how the public allegations could affect their oldest child.

“We have a 15-year-old who has access to social media,” she added, suggesting the online attention could deeply impact their family.
