Squash: Busayo Olatunji wants to become Nigeria’s no1 female player

Nigeria’s no3. Squash player Busayo Olatunji has revealed her hopes at becoming Nigeria’s no1 female player in the game. 

Busayo who finished joint 3rd at the just concluded 1st Chief Olusegun Obasanjo national squash open championship in Abeokuta said she wants to one day rise to the no1 spot which is currently being occupied by her sister, Yemisi Olatunji. 

“It has always been my dream to become Nigeria’s no1 female player in squash, although it will take hardwork and dedication to achieve this feat but I am always determine to do this”, the Lagos based player told sportsration.com

“My sister is currently occupying the no1 spot and I want to take the position immediately she vacates or retire from the game, our family trend must continue” Busayo concluded. 

Busayo and her elder sister, Yemisi both played the Zimbabwean Squash Open Final earlier this month where Yemisi won the title.
