Squash: Final Matches Pairings Decided At The 1st Chief Olusegun Obasanjo National Open Championship
The 1st chief Olusegun Obasanjo National Squash Open championship will on Saturday reach climax with finals of the men’s, women’s U19 boys and U19 girls final set to take place at the OOPL Squash court in Abeokuta.
The week long tournament saw the semi final matches in all categories decided on Friday.
In the U19 Boys Semi final match, Adegoke Onaopemipo saw off Kamol Obe (11-6,11-3,11-1) while Desmond Iguodola was too good for Abdulrahman Nasir (13-11,11-5,11-4).
The U19 Girls Semifinal saw Odunade Adeyi triumphing over Temitope Olusoji (12-10,11-6,11-8) with Dahood Kudirat 3-1 Musa Aminat (14-12,11-3,8-11,11-5)
In the men’s semi final match Femi Shedera scrathed in the third game to Gabriel Enimakure, with Abel Shedrack also scratching in the first game to Abdulrahman Lanre
Rofiat Abdulazeez saw off Ebifemi Taiwo while the battle of the sisters saw the eldest of the Olatunji’s, Yemisi defeating her sister Busayo.
