Squash OOSA2018: Busayo Olatunji Hopes To Upset Her Sister In The Semi Final
After causing a major upset by sending no4 seeded player, Veronica Sunday packing in three straight games of best of five, 3-0 at the 1st chief Olusegun Obasanjo national squash open championship in Abeokuta.
Busayo Olatunji says it’s a no family affair when she face her elder sister and Nigeria’s female no1 squash player Yemisi Olatunji in the semifinal on Friday.
Speaking to sportsration.com after her quarter final victory over Veronica, Busayo said: “It wasn’t easy for me against my opponent as it was a really tough game, I thank God that I won”.
“My semi final opponent is the No1 seeded player, Yemisi Olatunji, although she is my senior sister but this is a no family affair. I want to win”.
She praised the organisers for staging the championship and hope they don’t relent in putting up a better one.
Busayo and her elder sister, Yemisi both met in a Zimbabwean Open last week with her sister defeating her in the final.
