Startimes secures AFCON Broadcasting rights
In a groundbreaking development, StarTimes, a leading media giant, has successfully secured exclusive broadcasting rights for the highly anticipated TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Cote d’Ivoire 2023, along with all CAF Events held in 2024.
This strategic move covers Anglophone & Lusophone Countries in Sub-Saharan Africa, encompassing events such as CHAN 2024 and AFCON 2025 Qualifiers.

All fifty-two matches of the Africa Cup of Nations will be exclusively aired on StarTimes’ Sports Premium, Sports Life, and Beta Sports channels.
The tournament, organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), is one of the continent’s most prestigious football events, with the upcoming AFCON 2023 scheduled to take place in Ivory Coast. Originally planned for the summer of 2023, the event has been rescheduled and is set to kick off on January 13, concluding on February 11, 2024, featuring 23 other nations in 52 thrilling matches.
