Sudan goalkeeper Ali Abdallah is talking tough ahead of Falcons of Jediane Africa Cup of Nations clash with Super Eagles.
Nigeria will play their second Group D clash against Sudan at the Roumde Adija Stadium, Garoua on Saturday and Ali Abdallah is blowing hot.
Goalkeeper Ali Abdallah who was named the man of the match in Sudan’s AFCON 2021 goalless draw in their game against Guinea-Bissau has fired warning to the Eagles.
“Nigeria have good players and are one of the favourites to win this competition, but we can’t be afraid of them,” the Al Hilal goalie told a press conference in Garoua.
“We are here to compete and must give everything on the pitch.”
Nigeria have a good head-to-head record against Sudan, winning 8 and drawing 4 in their past meetings, with their only defeats coming in 1963 and 2014.
