Fortuna Sittard have released a statement denying the reports going around the media that the Coach of the team, Sunday Oliseh has been sacked.
The former Super Eagles Coach led the Netherlands Second division side, Fortuna Sittard to half season top finish, but currently, lie on the third position with just two points behind leaders NEC Nijmegen.
However, reports emanated that the former Super Eagles player has been relieved of his duties as the gaffer of the club on Tuesday morning, which the club denied.
The Club released through their social media channel.
“Today there appeared through various media reports of the position of head coach Sunday Oliseh. However, the Fortuna Sittard denies coverage on the resignation of the coach.”
Oliseh was reported to have a fight with the club management after the home loss to FC Dordretch last Friday, which resulted in him complaining about lack of signing of players.
