Super Bowl LX: Chiefs and Eagles Named Favourites for Next Season

The NFL season may have just ended, but the excitement is already building for next year. Hours after the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Kansas City Chiefs to win Super Bowl LIX, odds for the next big game have already been released.

Super Bowl LX will take place at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, and is expected to feature two of the NFL’s best teams again.

Despite their loss in the final, oddsmakers believe the Chiefs are still strong contenders for next year’s Super Bowl. According to FanDuel Sportsbook, both the Chiefs and the Eagles are the favourites to win Super Bowl LX, with odds of +650.

This is surprising, considering the Eagles’ dominant performance over the Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX. The Chiefs are also facing a potential loss of key players in the offseason, including wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, safety Justin Reid, defensive end Charles Omenihu, linebacker Joshua Uche, and inside linebacker Nick Bolton.

Additionally, there are concerns that head coach Andy Reid and star tight end Travis Kelce might retire after the season. Both have been non-committal about their future following the Super Bowl defeat.

Even with these uncertainties, the Chiefs and Eagles remain the top picks for next season’s championship, showing how strong their squads still are heading into the new season.
