The President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau, will act as the host.

Notable guests also include Hon. Kunle Soname, Chairman and Board of the Lagos State Football Association, former Nigeria captain Dr. Olusegun Odegbami, leading artists, top celebrities, and influencers.

The 25 players selected for Nigeria’s AFCON campaign, along with their officials, will be the vintage guests at the dinner. They will arrive in Lagos aboard a chartered aircraft on Tuesday evening.

Expressing gratitude, NFF President Musa Gusau thanked Governor Sanwo-Olu and his administration for hosting the team at the Send Forth ceremony.

He highlighted the significance of the event in boosting the team’s morale and emphasizing the support of Nigerians as they aim for a fourth continental title in Cote d’Ivoire.

The Nigeria contingent is set to depart Lagos on Wednesday morning for the 80-minute flight to Abidjan.

In Group A, the Super Eagles will compete against host nation Cote d’Ivoire, Equatorial Guinea, and Guinea-Bissau.

The delegation will be led by the Chairman of the NFF Technical and Development Committee, Alhaji Sharif Rabiu Inuwa.
