Super Eagles arrive Monrovia for Sierra Leone clash

Nigeria’s Super Eagles have landed in Monrovia, Liberia ahead of their 2023 AFCON qualifier vs Sierra Leone on Sunday June 18, 2023.

Due to unavailability of a standard playing facility in Sierra Leone, the Samuel Kanyon Doe Stadium in Monrovia was adopted as venue for the Leone Stars home games.

Super Eagles Head Coach Jose Peseiro has the full complement of 23 invited players fit and ready for the match in Monrovia tomorrow.

If they avoid defeat vs Sierra Leone, Nigeria will qualify for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations tournament to be hosted by Ivory Coast.
