Super Eagles defender Chidozie Awaziem nominated for October award in Portugal

Super Eagles of Nigeria defender Chidozie Awaziem has been nominated for the Boavista of Portugal October player of the month award.

Awaziem is nominated for the award alongside teammates Robert Bozenik and Sebastian Perez .

The 26-year-old made three league appearances for Boavista in October 2023 to help the club win maximum points in all the matches.

This season, the versatile Nigerian defender has made nine league appearances for the Black and Whites.

Awaziem who is back at the Portuguese club after spending the last two seasons on-loan at Alayanspor and Hadjuk Split.

Boavista currently occupy sixth position on the table with 15 points from nine games.
