Super Eagles forward Moses Simon scored the decisive penalty to send Nantes into the Coupe De France Final at the expense of Monaco .

Nantes who miraculously escaped the drop last season defeated Monaco 4-2 on penalties after drawing 2-2 in regulation time. Moses Simon scored the decisive penalty to send Nantes into the Coupe De France final. Fans at the La Beaujoire poured onto the turf in celebration of a rare success story.

Goals from Maripan (Monaco), Sidibe (OG) (Nantes),  Moutousammy (Nantes ) and Boadu (Monaco) ensured a 2-2 scoreline in regulation time of a drama filled encounter. The game proceeded to the lottery of the penalty shootout in search of a winner.
