Super Eagles receive match-winning bonus
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has promptly rewarded the Super Eagles for their outstanding performance in the 2023 African Nations Cup, paying the winning bonus for their victory over the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon.
The Super Eagles secured a 1-0 victory against Angola in the quarter-final, advancing to the semi-final stage.
Each player received a payment alert of $12,500 for the team’s impressive 2-0 win over Cameroon in the Round of 16 with even more expected soon for the latest win.
Additionally, the players are due to receive $30,000 each for progressing beyond the group stage in the tournament.
The swift payment of bonuses reflects the NFF’s commitment to ensuring the welfare and motivation of the national team.
The Super Eagles are gearing up for a challenging semi-final clash against Bafana Bafana of South Africa, scheduled for Wednesday, Febuary 7, 2024 by 6pm.
In addition to the recent bonuses, the team is anticipating the clearance of a backlog of unpaid bonuses and allowances, dating back to 2021.
