Players from the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), along with the team’s backroom staff, will leave from the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos.

Head coach Eric Chelle has invited several home-based players for the tournament. These include Ahmed Musa, Ifeanyi Oyebuchi, Papa Daniel, Nduka Junior, Sadiq Ismaila, and Waliu Ojetoye.

Others called up are Collins Ugwueze, Saviour Isaac, Abubakar Adamu, and Sikiru Alimi.

They will join their foreign-based teammates in London ahead of the tournament.

The Super Eagles will face long-time rivals, the Black Stars of Ghana, in their opening match at the Gtech Community Stadium in Brentford on Tuesday, 27 May.

After the Unity Cup, Nigeria will play another friendly match against Russia in Moscow on Friday, 6 June, using a different squad.
