Super Eagles stars shine with assists in league final games

Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze came off the bench to set up the opening goal for AC Milan in their 2-0 win over Monza in their final Serie A match of the season.

Chukwueze did not start the game but was brought on at half-time by coach Costa, with the first half ending goalless. His introduction brought more energy to Milan’s attack, and he made an impact in the 64th minute.

The Nigerian delivered a well-taken corner from the right, which was met by Matteo Gabbia, who rose highest to head home and make it 1-0.

Ten minutes later, Joao Felix sealed the victory with a stunning free-kick from around 25 yards, making it 2-0 for the Rossoneri.

This match may be Chukwueze’s last for AC Milan, as the club is reportedly looking to let him go during the summer transfer window.

Uche Impresses with Assist as Getafe End Season with Defeat

Christantus Uche, who scored the winning goal for Getafe in their previous match, could not stop his team from losing 2-1 to Celta Vigo in their final La Liga game of the season.

Getafe started strongly at the Coliseum and took the lead in the 11th minute. Uche intercepted a poor pass from Celta Vigo goalkeeper Vicente Guaita and set up Borja Mayoral, who fired the ball past the keeper to make it 1-0.

However, Getafe could not maintain their lead. Celta Vigo equalised 14 minutes later through Borja Iglesias, and later took the lead in the 80th minute with a goal from Iago Aspas.

Uche was substituted in the 84th minute. Apart from his assist, he had a quiet performance overall. The defeat meant Getafe ended the season in 13th place.

Uche will now turn his focus to the upcoming Unity Cup, where he hopes to make his debut for the Super Eagles and leave a strong impression.
